A summary of the issue:
Mint page edit says 10001 were minted but only 10000 were minted. I try to change the image and description but it fails because it shows more than 10k mints. When I lower the mints to 10000 which is the actual number of mints, it gives error that I can’t lower below what was minted (it thinks 10001 were minted). The cause of the error is that one day I was editing the metadata and changed the number to 10001 but didn’t publish it. Now when I come back after a long time, for some reason that number was baked in. If you look at the actual number of items minted you see it is only 10k. -
What are you trying to do?
I want to edit the mint page and change the image in it. This was a promise I made to the owners of the token, that I will occasionally change the image. -
What is the actual outcome? Are you seeing any error messages?
Yes, if I try to change the image while the mint number is 10001 it gives error “no more than 10k can be minted”. If I try to change the mint number back to 10k it gives error “cannot reduce number of mints below what was minted” -
