In order for our team to investigate a bug/errors, please provide the following:

  • What is your wallet address?
    0x54e93609eB454A1F152eDeFDf022480794cE2130

  • A summary of the issue
unable to login with metamask. it is asking for email verification. I add my email and it says it sending a code to my email. But I just receive a login email saying someone is trying to login but there is no verification code.

  • What are you trying to do?
    Trying to login

  • What is the actual outcome? Are you seeing any error messages?
No error message, but not receiving verification in email. Also trying to sign in with metamask.

  • A screenshot of the issue/error with the console. Instructions here: Manifold Docs

  • What browser are you using? Chrome and Brave

  • What wallet are you using?metamask

Thank for reaching out - Can you confirm that the verification code isn’t in your junk mail?

Correct. it is not in my junk mail folder. After about twenty tries, one code came through in my inbox. But it was already expired. I’m still trying to sign in.

Got it - Seeing some deliverability issues but can you try again and just click the link once? Clicking it multiple times will expire the previous ones

Yes, same result whether I click it once, or hit resend. I’ve tried many different things. clearing cache, different browser, removing other wallet extensions. All lead to the same result, the sending of an activation code that never arrives. I never created an account with an email in the past. I created it with metamask back in 2021 or 2022 I believe. So maybe it’s an issues because it’s an old account?

I’m still unable to login to my studio. I need to get in there to access some NFTs. Any help?

Hey there roustan,

Thanks for reporting - it’s possible if you were trying to use an apple private relay email that our mail service wasn’t getting through. We’ve added some temporary validation to suggest an alternative email and another small update. Can you try again and let us know if you’re still not seeing an OTP email?

Thank you

i was just able to login with two different wallets by sending to different email addresses, but my contracts are not loading. it shows as if I havent created anything in either account. Feels like it created a new account or something under the emails instead of acknowledging my wallet contracts

It looks like you do have an associated email (yahoo email) with this wallet address 0x54e93609eB454A1F152eDeFDf022480794cE2130

You will need to use the same email to receive an OTP to login - it won’t allow you to associate a new email with the same address. If you want to change the email - you will have to change it in settings after logging in. If you are still unable to receive an OTP at the yahoo email can you share a screenshot of the console you are seeing?

Thank you,

Yes, I think I just now created that associated yahoo email testing a different email, and it let me in. But now none of my contracts or past collectibles are showing. I have at least this collection that should be accessible. https://opensea.io/collection/roustan-editions-base

https://basescan.org/address/0xa9f1f3d659d76d4abb7a504306277640be5a6796

Interesting! Investigating further - will let you know what I find!

Okay so don’t worry we’re still picking up your data if you navigate to: Manifold Studio
you should see contracts and tokens there.

I’m checking to see why contracts aren’t populating in home though. It’s possible that this is because there are some older aspects of your account but you’re right that seeing an empty contracts is unexpected.

If it helps, here is my old wallet address that I originally started a manifold account with way back when. 0xf5Fdaa91b9bcBbDE2E3626e4C4c817b34bD796F9

That wallet was hacked and I started a new account and tried connecting and replacing the wallets in the past. Ultimately, I created a new contract on the new wallet to start fresh, (which we both see is not showing up under contracts). I’m hoping to access that and airdrop some mints from the studio.

I did find that contracts page you hyperlinked, but I’m unable to find where I can access and mint some of those NFTs.

For example, what would be the url that I could access minting control of this one:

Also, just to note, when I try to switch the now working yahoo email to my main gmail, i still do not receive the OTP verification.

went ahead and removed the screenshot above since it had sensitive info included

heads up - you won’t be able to change your account to an existing associated email unless that email is also disassociated from its original studio account.

for context your contract’s visibility looks like this is related to: Manifold contract missing - #4 by cadmonkey
since sometimes contracts can be associated with a different studio account depending on how they were created

If you want to move your contract to a different workspace you can:

  1. Be logged into an account that has your ‘destination’ workspace (where you want to move the contract to).
  2. Invite your 0x…96f9 account to the ‘destination’ workspace (with the gmail)
  3. Log out, then login with 0x…96f9 and gmail. Go into your Contract page → Settings and you can move it to another workspace.

Let me know if this resolves your issue!

Okay. Starting to get more and more confusing but I managed to do this.

  • Invited #96f9 to #2130 workspace.
  • Signed into my main gmail. OTP worked this time.
  • Signed back into #2130 account, successfully added main gmail as user.
  • After several minutes, I now have a green dot Main Gmail workspace #9679 that shows the contracts, a yellow dot #2130 workspace with no contracts.
  • I was able to mint 20 NFTs from the Gmail workspace to my wallet.
  • I cannot find a contract page → settings where I can move it to another workspace.

Is it possible to make #2030 the main owner of all the contracts?

Ah I FOUND IT! Needed to load up an individual contract to get to the settings  Thank you for all your help. Seems to be good to go!

Also managed to figure out that the reason it wasn’t sending an OTP was because the email at hand was already attached to a different account. It won’t send the OTP if it is not the correct account. Had to remove it from an account that had it, and then attach it to the account I wanted it in. All is working properly now.

Glad it worked out! Thanks for reporting the original issue and looping back with the resolution!
