Hey, I just signed a transaction to deploy a burn claim which I have done many times over the past few weeks, and for some reason this one cost me 47 dollars in gas which makes no sense because gwei is currently 2

The reason for the high cost is due to the complexity of your burn rules. The more burn rules and restrictions are added, the more data needs to be stored on contract.
It looks as though a burn was set up with a sparse data set and token rules.
Oh okay thanks for the info! I will try and pick different options next week for my burn to reduce that fee
How did you pick your burn options? Did you select one thing (one collection), or many different things?
