Burn to Redeem Not Working

  • A summary of the issue; I just recently set up a burn to redeem page and I am getting a “Transaction failed. Please try again. If it fails again, please contact support.” on step 1.

  • What are you trying to do; Do a burn to redeem page and burn on my new contract.

  • What is the actual outcome? Are you seeing any error messages?

  • What wallet are you using? - MetaMask


Had a friend also try to burn to redeem, seems to be not just an issue for me.

thank you for your screenshots. can you confirm that you only have one active wallet extension (e.g.: metamask in your case)? it seems that we were not able to swap to the correct network for the burn, and that usually happens when there are two or more active wallet extensions on a browser (e.g.: you have both metamask and coinbase wallet extensions on chrome).

we’re also digging into the errors a bit more, and will update when we find anything :folded_hands:

I do have multiple wallet extensions installed, but I did disabled them and tried again with no changes, also tried in Internet explorer with just one wallet (metamask) and nothing changed. Here is the console for Internet Explorer;

we have found the issue and are rolling out a fix. you should be able to continue your burn and redeem in ~30 minutes. make sure to refresh the page before retrying.
