Burning/Deletion NFTS on Opensea or FND

If I burn my NFTs on Foundation or send them to the burn address on OpenSea, will that work the same as deleting them on etherscan?
I made a mistake minting earlier and want to clean up my foundation and opensea pages.

Some marketplaces still show burn tokens. You’ll want to reach out to them to hide the tokens.
