Can't access account. Email linked to different account

Is it possible to merge accounts? Or access both with same email?

In order for our team to investigate a bug/errors, please provide the following:

  • What is your wallet address?

  • A summary of the issue
    I created an account and deployed contracts with a hot wallet. I also created an account and deployed contracts with a cold wallet. When I made this, there was no requirement to provide an email. I’m now trying to log into my cold wallet account, which I’ve decided should handle all my artwork since a cold wallet is more secure than a hot one, but I can’t access it because my email is linked to the hot wallet account. Ideally, I’d like to access everything with the same email address linked to my studio practice for both on and off-chain art-related communication. I even set my hot wallet as a collaborator on the cold wallet account back when I could access it. How can I access the account and use the same email for both?

    “It looks like someone is trying to create an account on Manifold with this email.
    If that was you then try logging in instead of creating a new account.”

gm - Thanks for reaching out. Can you provide the wallet address for both cold and hot wallets?

Unfortunately, you can’t access both with the same email. Below are some suggestion:

  • Create a new email and link it with your cold wallet email. After that you can invite your hot wallet account as a collaborator.

(Click Settings → Access → Invite member)

  • Unlink email with hot wallet account and link it with cold wallet account. Unlink by go to Account “Setting” and change “Linked Email Address”.
