I am looking to use the getphysical app to enable redemption of physical prints from my existing printshop (darkoom

I would prefer to use a hold to redeem, rather than a burn. For example, if you have a 721 token, you can prove you own the token and claim a unique, single use, redeem code that can subsequently be used in the print shop.

Is this possible?

Hello! With physical redeems this is not possible yet but there is a very simple and cheap work around while we get that feature developed:

  1. Make an ERC1155 token on Base and give one to each person who currently owns the artwork. Should cost 25-50 cents.
  2. Make a Base network Get Physical page where Collectors can burn the new Base token you’ve made in exchange for the Physical. Should cost just a few cents to deploy.

The “physical” they get could easily be a redemption code for another site if that’s how you choose to run you ecommerce! You could also use the CSV of shipment info we give you to send out the prints.
