Contract/minting correct?

Hello, i have created a new contract and minted my first NFT. My question is, is it really minted now? can anybody look on my profile if i have done everything right. In profile is “testnet” written. I have tried to find out, what this could mean, i´ve googled it, but could not find any answers. So please help me, thx

gm! Welcome! Is this the token you’re referring to? Looks like it was minted properly. visi7or - perception | Manifold

The testnet workspace utilizes Sepolia which is essentially ‘test ETH’ where creators can test out mint mechanics without any cost.

hello. yes this is the one. okay, cool, so it seemed i made it correct. so now the item can be bought on platforms. so if it costs some money than it is “really” minted, is that correct? thx a lot.

You can think of it like - When you’ve minted a token, it’s published. And then you can choose to sell it on a platform of your choice. So your token is published and exists on chain right now, it’s just not sold.

This is different from something like an edition page where you’re staging a token to be minted, and then the collectors will mint the token from the page itself.
