Data Sync Issue and mismatch in number of assets

In order for our team to investigate a bug/errors, please provide the following:

  • A summary of the issue: When I attempt to edit metadata on my contract, i am met with a data sync error. when i attempt to publish and reload the csv, i receive an error that the assets cannot be more than ‘x,’ which is a fraction of what is actually minted.
  • What are you trying to do? Update metadata
  • What is the actual outcome? Are you seeing any error messages? Screenshotted

To confirm you’re looking to update tokens with a CSV for a series mint? The CSV contains the same number of assets as you uploaded initially?

Can you please provide a screenshot with the console visible? There’s a section here showing how to grab it, it will help us see what the error is. How do I report issues to the forum? | Manifold Help Center

Thank you! yes. I am looking to update tokens with a CSV for a series mint. The CSV contains the same amount of assets i initially uploaded. i tried to update after initial mint and my browser crashed. when i tried to resume, i had this issue pop up. The cta prompted me to ‘publish’ to resolve the syncing issues, so i did so.

when i try to re-load the original csv, i receive an error that the csv can only contain 7 assets. i uploaded 121 initially.

I’m trying to take a look but not following where you are at.

From what I can see you are trying to update the metadata for a Series. I see

  • 7 assets on that series
  • that series is a part of a contract that has 121 tokens currently
  • in that Series instance you currently have a CSV uploaded with 7 rows and you have not fully published yet? Seeing the data sync

Is the main issue that you are having:
a) trying to upload a 121 row CSV and its not taking or
b) you are trying to publish the update with the 7 rows and its failing somewhere in the popup?

apologies for the confusion. main issue is option a). I originally uploaded 121 tokens and subsequently needed to update the metadata. so i attempted to update the csv but my browser crashed (apparently 7 tokens into the update).

when i restarted my browser and returned to complete the job, i was presented with this issue of only being able to upload and update 7 (out of 121) assets.

Okay sorry about the issue – i see now.

We just made a fix and you should see 121 assets on that Series again. You should be able to reupload the CSV with 121 rows and re-publish.

Let me know if that does not work as you expect.
