how to burn the contract and the items within it ?

Unfortunately, a contract can’t be deleted or burned once it’s deployed, but you can burn any tokens you still own on it, steps here → Manifold Help Center
Manifold Studio does have an option to “hide” items from your Studio (ie. to avoid selecting it etc), but it currently does not apply to the contract selector; I’ve passed this on to our team and can followup here when that feature is available, in case it’s helpful for you!
If there is anything that can be made clearer in Studio outside of that, let us know
