I’m trying to upload a 150MB video. It initially, I didn’t understan why and how, uploaded only the thumbnail as the main artwork and ignored the video entirely, setting the thumbnail as the main artwork.
Now, when I try to edit and update the content, it allows me to add the video, but then doesn’t give me the option to set a thumbnail — which prevents me from continuing.

This is the first time this has happened to me.
How can I resolve this?
Thanks for reaching out - What happens if you remove the video on the edit screen and refresh?
We’ll try to recreate on our end. Can you take a screenshot of the error you’re seeing when you try to edit/publish? Please post a screenshot with the console. Instructions here:
Then I try to go without thumbnail (I already have a .mp4 piece in another collection and it has not a thumbnail) and it says nothing in the console but manifold says that “Media is missing required fields”.
I already tested with other thumbnails and it still doesn’t upload anything so I think the problem is not on the photo I use itself, maybe it’s something related to the video? I also don’t understand why now I’m obliged to choose a thumbnail, I have another .mp4 piece in another collection that the “thumbnail” is the video itself. Please let me know.
(So just the thumbnail when I open on Foundation and on other marketplaces in general, also manifold, it takes a lot of time. It seems weird to me: I think 150mb it’s not so big and also Foundation has a max of 300mb, so what is the problem?)
Got it - On the display side, we’re trying to recreate the issue with the Manifold pages. We’ll keep you posted as we investigated. This is likely due to the size, if the uploaded video is smaller the media error should be gone.
I believe this is a separate issue from Foundation, but will will respond when we have a bit more information
The issue is likely a size issue - Arweave Gateway is likely blocked which results in the media error. A smaller video will allow devices to download the content more seamlessly.
The issue with Foundation is separate, you’ll need to reach out to them on their end for supporting this asset. If the token’s metadata is published correctly the issue is likely to do with the platforms displaying said token.
