Not Displaying Images when Uploading Metadata CSV from Claim

Greetings!

I’ve been trying to update the token images by using the bulk upload feature. I set all of the images links to public in Google drive, but when I upload the CSV file, the metadata attributes appear, but the images do not.

Can you send a link to the claim you’re trying to edit the token metadata for?

If images aren’t showing it means we weren’t able to download them from your csv. Please double check that the image links are correct and publicly accessible.

They are publicly accessible. I tested by taking one of the URLs and accessing through another browser and it displayed fine there.

Does it matter if some have animation urls and some do not?

Please post either the csv or a few of the urls. Being able to access it via a browser doesn’t mean that whatever file server you are using allows for direct download from our servers.

I’m using files/links from google drive, just like in your support tutorial.

So the issue are these are file urls are not native urls. The link actually renders a website rather than the image link itself. You can work around this by doing the following steps:

  1. Go to your Google Drive.
  2. Right-click on the image file.
  3. Select Share.
  4. Open the General access drop-down menu.
  5. Select Anyone with the link to publish your image.
  6. Click Copy link and then Done.
    Y7) ou will get a URL like the following:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wMgCWAsqlw0nXcMhCldTbwSznMdXUmBT/view?usp=sharing

You can see your file ID in bold. Put the file ID in the following link:
https://drive.usercontent.google.com/download?id=FILE ID

Whoa. That worked! Sorta. Haha. So two images are showing now in preview, which are two of the three that I shared the links to previously. So I’m thinking maybe I changed something on the sharing settings for those two. Hmmm.

Ok more are showing up now! Maybe it just takes some time for them to load in preview?

If there are missing entries by tomorrow, just try uploading the CSV again.
