gm! Thanks for sending us these details. We’ll investigate - Can you send us the Opensea links?
Also - Noticed you created a series each to mint this image, was there a specific reason for doing so? Curious about what you’re trying to do with this piece!
REASON
They were minted as a series to encourage people to buy as a pair for display purposes. They are meant to be hung as physical prints side by side or around a corner.
Hi!
So the reason the images are not rendering on Opensea is because you are using the “TIFF” file type.
Opensea doesn’t seem to support this file type unfortunately according to their docs
TIFF is also a tricky file type since not all browsers supports it (Chrome does not support TIFF). You can see the list of supported browsers here:
My recommendations would be to convert this to other file types that are more broadly supported by web browers to provide the best viewing experiences for your collectors. You can update the metadata by going into your instances in Manifold Studio, re-upload the images and hit “Publish”
I just tried to follow your suggestion to upload a PSD file since the TIFF is not rendering on OpenSea.
I deleted the image within the contract metadata from the original hash of
0x56aa0421b648bb758299a4d96ecb73963160fb975a8b8cb63910732194f8bd46
and tried to update with a PSD file.
Message from Manifold is “Filetype not supported”. ??
Looks like Manifold does NOT support PSD? Or is there another issue?
I am now reuploading the TIFF on the "Drive the Line (Right) so the Rarible and Foundation links will not break,
Please advise. PSD file type is not accepted by Manifold? JPEGS only if OpenSea will not render TIFF?
Manifold users who wish to market on OpenSea are forced to use jpegs because Manifold does not support PSD file type and OpenSea will not support TIFF.
This does seem like a wise decision for provenance of artwork. Quality is degraded from jpegs.
Manifold should reconsider its position on file types for benefit of artist provenance.
