Reserved Buyer did not buy, I canceled listing

  • A summary of the issue: I reserved an NFT for a specific buyer/wallet to buy but he did not. I canceled the listing. Now do i have to create new to sell to another person? Can i delete the previous somehow?

  • What are you trying to do? Im trying to sell it to another person now, i dont know which is the best way to do it.

i can still see it listed. would i be able to delete the listing? shoyuld i create new one and reuplioad the same art? what can i do??

so i can never delete it from there? also this brings one more question.
if i create a private listing for a specific wallet with a specific price, and this wallet decides not to buy, this means i only can cancel the listing? i cant just change the price and the reciepents wallet?

Hello,

You can cancel the listing by going to Manifold Studio . Choose the “Cancel Listing” option or “Configure Private Listing” if you want to sell to someone else.

You can always change the price and the recipient wallet anytime by going to the link above.

why does it say active? i sold this already.

so in my case, i shouldnt have canceled the listing, i should have just edit the reciepent wallet and the price for another person to buy???

Hi,

The identified a UI bug on Studio where it was showing the listing as “Active” when it was actually already sold. Sorry about this and a fix is on the way.
For next time if a reserved buyer doesn’t end up purchasing — you don’t need to cancel the listing. You can just edit the listing to change the recipient and/or price, and it’ll be open for someone else to buy. Let us know if you have any questions!

okay perfect, so now is there a way to hide or burn the canceled listing so it doesnt appear or being counted in the collection? also, the contract thumbnail is the same as the first token i created. can i change that?

i mean that when i go to manifold studio after the canceling the listing i still see it like duplicate cause i had to create it again to sell it. also, the contract now says there are 2 tokens which means it counts the canceled one as well

also please tell me what will happen if i set lets say a 1 hour window for reserved buyer to buy and they dont. what will happen when time is over?

Hi,

I can see that you currently have a total of 3 tokens on this contract:

Token ID 1 has not been sold and is still in your wallet. Token ID 2 was sold to another address.

It looks like you may have created 2 tokens by mistake: one is still in your wallet, and the other has already been sold.

If you set a 1-hour purchase window for a reserved buyer and they do not purchase within that time, they will no longer be able to purchase once the window ends. However, you can adjust or extend the time window, or change the reserved buyer if needed.
