A summary of the issue
I recently logged in, like I always do with my wallet at manifold to create some awesome artwork, and like it’s all missing. Studio is gone, asking me for my email address, all my contracts not showing up. Did Big Comic Art get canceled?
What are you trying to do?
Make art. Is it possible to restore my account?
What is the actual outcome? Are you seeing any error messages?
Looks like a new account now
Let me know - It’s most likely that your work is in a different workspace and was deployed by a different address, not your sign in address. If this is the case, you’ll need to add those wallets to your workspace:
Ah, well i imported the “Data sources” from the wallet im logged into, but it’s still not displaying on the workspace. I tried to use my other known emails and invite to workspace, as per your link instructions but that didn’t work either. I might have created with a burner wallet a few years back, as I usually do when testing new web3 products, but switched to my main artist mining wallet. the email thing new for me to log in.
There is about 39 contracts ive created with my artist wallet.
Got it - So importing the Data Sources is different from adding to a workspace. Importing Data Sources will allow you to add tokens to be viewable in your Studio Settings.
Adding a user to the workspace will allow you to work with that wallet collaboratively, provided they are an administrator for the contract.
is there a way to find out what the workspace wallet address created this contract so i can doublecheck? ive tried a few of my burner wallets but its asking me for email and stuff each time, and it’s not straightforward or easy.
Is there any chance you used to login with “0xd79b812c8570508c04faba959e5fbb19230a6de2” as your wallet instead of “0xBFC9f6C46715755E2ee8b01f20AB36D22cB4Ad4f”? We have what seems like two accounts from you that seem to be very similar. Hoping this other one is the one you’re looking for.
The issue there would be if you used to log in 0xd79b812c8570508c04faba959e5fbb19230a6de2, but then deploy things with 0xBFC9f6C46715755E2ee8b01f20AB36D22cB4Ad4f.
Now you’ve logged in with 0xBFC9f6C46715755E2ee8b01f20AB36D22cB4Ad4f and made it its own account in addition to the original i believe.
Hey Johnny, thanks for your quick and solid reply, and apologizes for my late response!
Yes that was an old wallet, I connected and found 4 contracts I had deployed from it. But this is just a very small portion. I’ve got tons more work I’ve deployed that isn’t showing up ever since the log in style has changed.
