My wallet: 0xe25810f2e8870a2f53ba154d7d3797531cf5c101

When I try to create a new contract, the following error appears:
“An error occurred executing the transaction.”

I am trying to create a new contract in order to mint my new artworks there.

I am attaching screenshots.

I am using Google Chrome.

Hi! A few questions to help us investigate this issue further:

  1. Did something pop up on your wallet asking you to confirm?
  2. Would you mind sharing the browser console logs from when the transaction fails?
    • Open Studio and reproduce the error.
    • Open DevTools → Console
      • Chrome/Brave: Cmd+Option+J on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+J on Windows
    • Screenshot or copy any red errors plus nearby logs.

A few things to try in this order:

  1. Do you have other wallet extensions like Rabby, Coinbase, Phantom enabled on your browser? If you do please try disabling them in chrome://extensions, then retry and see if that fixes the issue
  2. If issue persists, could you try disabling Metamask Smart Account if enabled? Please see Switch to or revert from a smart account in MetaMask | MetaMask Help Center on how to disable it
Note: Please ensure your ledger live and ledger hardware are updated to the latest version.

Please let us know if that works for you

I’ve tried all of this many times, but it didn’t help. I even tested it in a completely fresh browser with no extensions installed.

I’m connecting to Manifold via WalletConnect.

The issue might be related to my VPN. I’m in Russia, and a lot of sites are blocked here, so without a VPN the site won’t load at all.

I also tried setting up split tunneling so WalletConnect (for my Ledger) bypasses the VPN, but that didn’t help either — the connection seems to drop somewhere.

Is it possible to solve this somehow?
