The UI for deploying a new contract isn't displaying

  • A summary of the issue
    The interface for deploying a new contract isn’t displayed.
    It flashes up for half a second, then I’m sent back to the dashboard.
    But this only happens if I was previously on the testnet.

I was trying to set up a contract via that, but the mainnet cannot be set manually.

Furthermore, I get a 404 error when viewing the link from my metadata, which prevents correct indexing on Foundation.

And that was the actual reason for deploying a new contract.

gm! Thanks for reaching out. What happens if you sign out, sign back in and start creating a contract? I’m trying to replicate this issue on my end.

yeah the same.
my solution was to activate testnet … klicking on for ex 1:1 or newcontract. - copy url - leaving testnet - paste url … like this i was able to go around the issue. but its still there or i am too new or dumb.

You were able to deploy the Contract? I’m wondering if something in the UX more clarity.

Hey @ROBN2KOOL, thanks for reporting this. To help us investigate, could you share a bit more detail?

  1. Browser & version — which browser are you using (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, etc.) and what version?
  2. Wallet — which wallet extension are you connecting with?
  3. Steps to reproduce — can you walk us through exactly what you did before the issue appeared? e.g. which network you were on, and what URL you were navigating to when the deploy UI flashed and redirected
  4. Console errors — if you open browser dev tools (F12 → Console tab) and try to load the deploy page, do you see any red errors? A screenshot would be super helpful

Any screenshots or screen recordings of the behavior would also help us narrow things down.
