Unable to open studio

Stuck on the following message when trying to open the Studio:

Please check your wallet and sign the message.

If you have multiple wallets installed including Phantom and don’t see a message request, see this article from Phantom.

If you don’t see a message in your wallet, try clearing your cache and refreshing this page. If you are still having issues, refer to our forum for support.


I did have Phantom installed, but removed from chrome, hard refreshed, and tried disconnecting and reconnecting metamask. Console is empty.

Thanks for reaching out - Sorry to hear you’re running into an issue. Do you see the message request when try to sign in??

No message request, though MM is connected to Manifold.

I thought maybe my 0x Splits connector or Phantom were blocking, but have uninstalled both and still having no luck.

When there’s no signing popup at all, it’s usually leftover session state stuck in the browser even after removing extensions.

Try these in order:

  1. Disconnect your wallet from Studio (top right corner), then reconnect
  2. Clear site data for manifold.xyz in Chrome — Settings → Site Settings → search manifold.xyz → Delete data
  3. In MetaMask, go to Settings → Connected Sites, remove manifold.xyz, then connect fresh
  4. If still stuck, try an incognito window with only MetaMask enabled
