Update minted and sold tokens

I have some NFTs that are minted and sold already. I want to update the images and description on them. Is it possible to update it on Mainnet after it has already been sold? Will the buyers see the new NFT?

Yes, it is possible to update a token after it has been sold. Once the metadata is refreshed on the platforms, the collector will see the updated image.
