Update on pfp style minting?

Hi,

I found a topic from 2023 that says Manifold doesn’t allow blind minting on a serie of artwork like a pfp mint. Is it still the case ? i tried on the testnet and it seems like i can only have one media :confused:

I have an art project consisting in a serie of 100 artworks, they are video loop, i can’t do it in opensea studio because they refuse mp4 format and my artwork are too complex for the limitations of GIF image.

Is there any manifold solution ? i couln’t find one

You can definitely create a blind mint with Manifold - We have instructions here. Let me know if you have any questions.

Basically you’ll setup a mint page and then update the metadata whenever you want to reveal it. If any of this is unclear let me know, happy to walk through it on a call with you!

thank you very much !
when i tried on testnet i could only upload one single media, i can see in your doc that the multiples token are added afterward, so if i understand the single media becomes the pre-reveal image. Thank you so much for your help, if i can make a suggestion i think it would be great to have a special campaign dedicated to this type of collection because at first look it really looks like it’s not possible (at least for a non very technical person like me). It would be great also to be able to batch upload all the token, the ipfs upload thing + fetching all the links is not always easy.

That’s a great suggestion - We’ll definitely be improving this user experience here.

That’s correct, you first publish a single piece of media. And then reveal after the campaign has been published. The way our uploader works, it will grab your links from Google Drive and then upload them directly to Arweave.

I have a question regarding metadata after reading the doc, generally an attribute has a name and a value, for example background = red, but in my case i want some attribute to only exist on some nfts, like a bonus additionnal trait ,How do i write my csv to do this ?
