hey kinwiz,

to check who the administrators are on your contract, you can navigate to basecan and put in your contract address. on the contract code page, you should be able to see the read as proxy tab and check the isAdmin function with the expected wallet address. the address you used to deploy the contract should be an admin, unless you’ve removed it.

please confirm when you’re updating your contract that the wallet address you’re connected with is indeed your contract’s admin address (0xbcd...).

what do you mean by “ppl are minting my pieces, i’m not getting payed” ? can you specify the pieces for which you have mints (transactions if possible)? Manifold does not take any fees from the creator.

I’m also going to make this message a little more clear and list out your current wallet, as well as the “owner” wallet that can control who is an admin.

We’ll consider listing out all admins but that list can be quite long and probably won’t fit nicely in this dialog. I’m sure I can find a nice place to list them though!

Hi Manifold Team,
Thank you for getting back to me. I was really frustrated with the situation. I’d like to begin leaving a suggestion:

  • Please implement an available and quickly accessible channel that provides support to the user, especially creators.
My specific issue was resolved the next day, when I tried once again to change the mint values to my latest token, probably after clearing the cache on one of the sides (mine or Manifold’s).
I had already faced several difficulties due to bugs in the Manifold front end. To this day I want to change the email address linked to my main wallet, but I gave up, since when I request the code to change it, I receive an email saying that someone is trying to create an account using my email address. There is no need to solve this on my end, since I linked another email address.
About the contract in which I had this problem of Manifold not recognizing my wallet (which owns the contract as administrator), I had already checked on BaseScan, and there is no address registered in the contract, that is, the contract has no administrator. I believe that with the bug fixed I will not have any problems since now the site recognizes the permissions assigned to my address to make changes to the contract when necessary.
    Thank you very much,
    Kin Wiz

Oh, and as for not receiving my share of the revenue from the minted pieces, it was probably a mistake on my part. I assumed that by opting for free mint, the creator would receive a percentage of the fee charged by Manifold, as has become the norm on most NFT platforms these days. I probably thought I had read about it in one of the setup steps for my most recent piece, which must have happened on another platform, leading to the misunderstanding on my part.

That was the reason I was in a hurry to change the data on the mint page, correct my mistake, and set a value so that I would receive some compensation for the work, for my copyright and creative rights. Which I finally managed to do the morning after my report here on the forum.

Thank you for your attention,
Kin Wiz
