Why do the auctions keep ending even though they say that the auction will not start until the first bid. if there was no first bid, how could the auction start and end? please help me understand

Apologies for the delay - Just trying to understand a little better. I think I see what’s happening. The duration is the time the auction is live for, after the first bid - The auction should be live and allow others to bid until that period is over.

The listing will stay active until you cancel it or finalize it after a bid.
