I just want to be sure that I can do the following

1- mint an OE token
2- mint 1/1 pfp tokens and allow the holders of the OE token to burn 1 edition to earn a pfp 1/1 token when one is available.

My worry is that multiple collectors could try at once and burn tokens BUT only one collector gets the pfp.

Will this be a problem?

This is possible now and the race condition won’t be a problem. If you configure a max supply of 1, the other transactions will be rejected.
